Great food

Food was okay, dimly lit, not really worth the money either.

Where do I begin? We had a group of 6, came in at 7:00 p.m. put our orders in, waited an hour and a half for our food. Apologies were made. We were told they had a high volume of carry out orders to the chef never showed and a bartender was making the food. I ordered the super nachos and weren't have of what the picture is in the ad. Another ordered fish tacos that boast fillets and she got grey colored fish bits in her tacosWe were told 50% off of the meal for the inconvenience. Most got 10%, I got full charge including an extra drink I never had, 2 different prices for the same drink.All in all I'd say it was the worst experience with a restaurant I'd ever had. It will be my 1st and last time there. I will spread the news where ever I can as I paid $40+ for the worst meal ever! I wouldn't have given any stars, but it was the only way to get my review written.

Close to the Campground, decent bar food, beer is cold

Great service and fantastic food. Best cheeseburger in Dexter/Chelsea area.

The beer and service has been pretty good. The food and cleanliness has been terrible. After the first time we went here, I swore off the food. We went last week and my boyfriends burger looked like a hockey puck. Disgusting. It seems all around really dirty (foreign objects on my boyfriends open straw, keep the straw wrapped or at least the tip wrapped) I don't think we will ever go back.

Good bar food and great service

A bar's bar. Love the place. Great pizza. Happy hr $1.25 drafts. Good pour on bar drinks. Just a fun place that wants you to come back

Cozy little bar restaurant, staff was friendly. I heard the food is surprisingly good although we didn't eat.

Ordered a Philly cheese steak. Meat was old tasting. Not good at all. Other than that it's a nice historical place and probably has some better food on the menu.

One other table with customers. Still took 30min to get food (hamburgers and salad). Chicken wrap came 15 min later. Took 20 min to get the bill. (She misplaced our card.) So frustrating. Won't go back.

Bernie kranz... Your calzones weren't burnt. Which is why I comped and refused to serve you anything else. You did wait 22 minutes for your food (not an hour) in an understaffed restaurant on a very busy night. Sorry we couldn't meet your expectations.

Okay low key bar, only stopped in for a drink with a family member, so didn't get the whole experience but I liked it, not a collgee bar at all more of a local place, prices weren't the best but also not insane. It's near a bunch of lakes so I would bet that they get busy during the summer. Staff were nice and building seemed clean. The building is small, I would say fit 35 people at max.

Their grilled chicken and green beans are the best I have ever eaten...oh and the garlic mashed potatoes! Perfect!

2.29.2020 - Inverness Inn is a great place to go. However, if Candace seats you, request a new waitress! She was the rudest, most careless waitress, & just wanted us out of there! She got our food and gave us our bill and never asked if we needed another drink. We were planning on staying but left because she was so rude, basically pushing us out. It was hysterical how unpleasant she was! She was even rude & disrespectful to the other waitresses right in front of us. All the others seemed very friendly & welcoming!

Food ok, bring your own bottled water or drink their beer. The tap water there is bad. High iron or something else.

Always have a great meal Chicken tortilla soup & 1/2 Reuben sandwich are both delicious & all you need for lunch. The waiter was awesome

Food is always good but the service has been really slow our last two visits. Wait staff has been good, just not enough of them.

It's found along the northern side of North Territorial, a very nice road frequented by us motorcyclists that meanders from route 14 in Plymouth all the way west to US 127 in Pleasant Lake. The Inverness Inn is found just east of Hadley Rd, another very nice road. Food was decent, cozy atmosphere, it's biker friendly but its not a biker bar like those found just to the north in Hell, MI. Good place to stop, have a burger and a beer and cool your heels. Recommended.

We've been coming here for over 12 years now and the food and service used to be so good we had no problem driving over 30 minutes to get there. But unfortunately the last few years the food has been hit or miss usually not bad but, the service / kitchen , lack of wait staff , management whatever has been more of a miss . Hope they can figure it out. But hey drinks are priced well and it is a cool place IMO.

The people are nice, but there was 2 issues with our food, my friend ordered a vegetarian wrap and it came with some meat. and i ordered a well done burger, which came to me as rare. this place used to be quick and precise, now they are just nice people.

Great food. We went in for Sunday brunch and everything was hot and plentiful. The restaurant was very clean and had some nice decor from what looked like the original log cabin. We'll definitely be back.

Great surprise in an out of the way spot. Straight up bar with good cold beer. Very good food at normal prices. This place is just home and stress free.

Placed a food order 3 times before it finally got put in. Took an hour and a half to be served. The food was poor quality and my wife didn't even receive what she ordered. We did get a 20% discount but still had a bad experience.

We live right down the street, been coming here for over 40 years. If you want a beer, ok, but if you want food, go somewhere else. It's a shame how this place has deteriorated, especially when it used to be so good. I took my wife there for Valentines, we ordered calzones. After waiting for a hour, they came out, and were burnt. I would not have brought them to the table that's how bad they were. The waitress was unapologetic. After being there for over 1&1/2 hours, we finished the one beer we ordered (waitress never asked if we wanted another), and went home. This place needs BAR RESCUE....

decent food, slow service

I stopped in for Karaoke this weekend. The staff was friendly and the patrons are welcoming. The spirit and vibes from this place are so much fun! Till next time Inverness Update: My boyfriend had his phone stolen recently and it turned up at the Inverness. We haven't been there in a few year, but when we walked in to pick it up they knew exactly who we were and why we were there! Always a pleasure to spend time there!

Prices are very expensive for the amount of food you get. Its good but pricey.
